Privacy Policy

Last updated: to be confirmed before launch.

This policy explains how Healing Realms (Claire Lukins) looks after any personal information you share through this website. I keep things simple and I only ever ask for what I genuinely need to help you.

Who is responsible for your information

Healing Realms is run by Claire Lukins as a sole trader. I am the data controller for any information you send through this site.

If you would like to ask about your information, or have it updated or removed, email me at hello@healing222.co.uk and I will sort it for you.

What information I collect

The only place this website collects personal information is the enquiry form. When you use it, I receive:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The message you write to me

The website doesn't ask for any sensitive information, so please don't include health details or anything you'd rather keep private in your message. A simple note about what you're looking for is plenty, and we can talk through anything more personal in private.

Why I collect it and my lawful basis

I use the information you send purely to read your enquiry and reply to you. Under UK GDPR my lawful basis for this is your consent (you choose to send the form) together with my legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch about my services. I won't use your details for anything you haven't asked for.

Marketing

I will not add you to any mailing list or send you marketing simply because you've sent an enquiry.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry messages only for as long as I need them to help you and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. After that I delete them. If you'd like your message deleted sooner, just ask and I'll take care of it.

Who can see your information

Your information is never sold and never shared for marketing. The only third parties involved are the ordinary services that make the website and my email work, namely:

  • Vercel, the hosting provider that runs the site the form sits on
  • MailerLite, where your enquiry is stored securely so I never lose your message
  • Google (Gmail), which is how your enquiry reaches my inbox and how I reply

These providers process the information only to deliver their service to me, and they have their own privacy and security obligations.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use tracking or marketing cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. To understand how many people visit, the site uses Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics service that stores no cookies and collects no personal information about you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask what information I hold about you
  • Ask me to correct anything that's wrong
  • Ask me to delete your information
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Object to how I'm using your information

To do any of these, just contact me using the details above and I'll respond as quickly as I can. If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can also raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
